On Saturday, Nov. 13th at 11:00 there will be an event to honor veterans at Whippoorwill Academy and Village in Ferguson, NC. Veterans and families of veterans (both living and past) are invited to bring photos and objects collected during their service. Photos and objects will be displayed in the Smokehouse Gallery for the duration of that day’s event only. As in the past at Whippoorwill, veterans may share their service experience or stories told by veterans who have passed. All military branches will be recognized. Awards will be given and refreshments will be served. This is a NON-POLITICAL event and purely a time to honor our veterans. This event is free and open to the public.
