Come and honor those who served our country this Memorial Day Weekend. There will be a flag retirement ceremony at Whippoorwill Academy and Village in Ferguson, NC on May 29, 2021 beginning at 7pm. This event is open to the public and visitors may bring a photo of a loved Veteran who has passed away to hold during the ceremony. Boy Scout Troop 301 from Wilkesboro will conduct the ceremony. Scout Master of this troop is Jeffrey Foster and activity director is Chuck Marley. The public and especially veterans are invited to this Memorial Weekend event. The event is free.
