Join us to relive the days of Daniel Boone. This annual event reflects the significance Boone played here in the Yadkin Valley during the 1700’s. There will be period demonstrations, games, food, music, vendors, and as always, Whippoorwill Village.
Whippoorwill Academy and Village was begun by the late artist and historian, Edith Ferguson Carter. It is now owned and operated by her daughter, Margaret Carter Martine and her husband Dick Martine. The historic village has 12 + cabins and celebrates the talents and history of the area.
